I started getting into board games just around 2020, which as everyone knows is vey unfortunate timing to get games that involved being around other people. I had played a few things that I liked before but I was always kind of put off by board games because so many of the ones I knew just relied on luck. Think Hasbro games.

I started a Christmas tradition with friends that we would go a random gift exchange where the theme was board games or card games. That is really how my collection started. I researched a little and watched some videos on Youtube about good starter games. I learned about Jaipur and One Deck Dungeon and those had me hooked. Now I think my favorite genre is co-op but I love a lot of board games.

Now I have shelves full and I try and do game nights every couple of weeks. I’m really hoping in the future to be able to get a dining room table that lets you play and store board games in it for an easier time playing legacy games.
