I have played a lot since I last wrote about it. So I will try and split those up into sections

Adventures

The Overworld

I ended up fishing up a saddle and was able to tame a horse to explore the overworld. There were several mountains nearby and I was hoping to find some iron but I did not have much luck. I think the mountains were not tall enough. Though I did load up on coal.

The Nether

I ended up exploring the nether and finding a nether fortress it didn’t have an interior but there was another one nearby that did. I found a Blaze spawner that was mostly surrounded by blocks and used that as an opportunity to expand that and put down slabs so fires couldn’t be lit. I got a couple blaze rods and got out of there. Coming back later after I made a Fire Res potion to get more blaze rods. My portal was also in the Warped Forest biome so killing Enderman with the boat to get pearls was easy enough.

The End

Using what I’d gathered in the nether I made eyes of ender to make an ender chest but also to find the fortress. I made sure to bring with me obsidian and flint and steel to create a portal near the fortress. After finding it I made my way in near a library. I made my way to the end and fought the ender dragon.

Tragedy struck when I was exploring the end islands looking for Elytra. One of my enderpearls hit the side of an island and I fell into the void and lost everything!!

Base Improvements

Super smelter

I created mini super smelter 8 furnace using a chest boat to evenly distribute the items. The downside is it’s a very starter farm and each furnace needs to be manually fueled but it gets the job done.

Iron Farm

After getting Elytra and making some firework rockets with the few gunpowder that I had I created an iron farm that is shaped like a building. Getting the villagers was the tricky part as always especially since there was not a village nearby accessible with water but the new boat and lead mechanics were a life saver. I can’t wait until I can just air lift villages with happy ghasts.

Mob Farm

I also created a mob farm in the same area. near the surface I dug out a huge area and left 4 spawning platforms to be flushed with dispensers. Most of the stone that I mined out was used to build a tower that would be high enough to AFK and not allow other cave spawns.

Sugarcane Farm

The last thing I built was a sugarcane farm. It’s a small simple one but I’m hoping letting it run whenever I am playing will be enough for it to get a good supply.

Plans

I might try and breed the villages in the iron farm to start a trading hall. I’m very tired of not having mending.
